Eight match days in, and the numbers tell a story — one of grit, growth, and a team finding its rhythm in the Uganda Premier League. The Printers are quietly building something special, and our stat leaders have been right at the heart of it.

The Wall That Holds It All Together

Before the goals and assists even hit the headlines, our backbone has been forged at the rear.
The defensive unit of Mujuzi, Amayo, Mubiru, Mukiibi, and Kiryowa has been nothing short of resolute — reading danger early, winning duels, and keeping the team balanced throughout 90 minutes. Their understanding grows sharper with every match, giving UPPC FC a platform to express itself further up the pitch.

Behind them, goalkeeper Rodgers Omedwa has been a calming force—commanding his area, timing his interventions cleanly, and making saves that have kept The Printers in control during tense moments. His voice and composure have been just as important as any goal scored.

The Playmakers

Steven Munguchi has been the symbol of precision. His perfectly weighted assist to Ssenyonjo Hassan against Calvary summed up everything this squad stands for: awareness, teamwork, and hunger.

Bugembe Isa has shown nerves of steel. That equalizer against Lugazi at home didn’t just level the match — it ignited the comeback for our very first victory of the season.

Ssenyonjo Hassan, who finished Munguchi’s assist, has also turned provider himself — his smart setup fed Kigozi Ambrose for one of his goals against BUL FC in Njeru.

Marvin Mukiibi enters the list with silent impact — his assist to Kigozi for the second goal against BUL FC sealed a memorable brace and stamped authority in Njeru.

The Game Changers

Bunjo has been an architect. His quick thinking created the platform for Chopla’s decisive goal and teed up Bugembe Isa for that comeback spark against Lugazi. His work rarely shouts — but it turns games.

Odongo Jonathan Gift has the season’s most telling trademark: pinpoint aerial deliveries. Three assists so far — Chopla’s winner against Lugazi FC, Kawawa’s bullet header versus NEC FC, and Kigozi’s goal against Calvary. Every swing of his boot writes another line in our story.

Against NEC FC, Kawawa Samuel Junior, our 2024/25 Player of the Year, rose with a thunderous header that lit up the crowd.
In Yumbe, he opened the scoring with a composed strike from outside the box from a well placed pass from Kyeyune. Always reliable. Always carrying the attack.

From goal, back to front, every name is adding to the narrative. The stats speak, but the spirit behind them says more — this team is playing for each other, pushing for every inch, and proving that The Printers are here on a mission.

At Kadiba versus SC Villa, when pressure called, Tumwiine Fazil answered. His goal earned us a 1–1 draw — and kept our spirit unbroken.

Kigozi Ambrose put the seal on our trip to Midigo with a composed third goal that confirmed our dominance away from home.

But his moment of the season so far came in Njeru against BUL FC — a headline performance:
two goals, assisted by Ssenyonjo Hassan and Marvin Mukiibi. A brace that showed killer instinct when it mattered most.
