Match Report: UPPC FC 0–2 Police FC
Uganda Premier League – Match Day 7, Wednesday 19th November 2025
Fisheries Ground, Bugonga – Entebbe
It was a difficult evening in Entebbe as we were unable to build on our recent momentum, falling 2–0 to Police FC at the Fisheries Ground. Both teams came into the game level on 10 points with a chance to go top of the table, but on the day The Printers were unable to find their rhythm.

Team News & Starting XI
Coach Abdallah made two changes from the side that won in Midigo:
- Kiryowa stepped in for the injured Amayo
- Kyeyune dropped to the bench, with Kokas starting in right wing.

Starting XI: Omedwa, Mujuzi (C), Kiryowa, Mubiru, Odongo, Bugembe, Munguchi, Ssenyonjo, Kawawa, Kokas, Kigozi.
First Half
The opening stages were quiet, with both sides struggling to create clear opportunities. The game lacked tempo, and for long stretches neither goalkeeper was seriously tested. The stalemate was broken just after the half hour mark when a goalkeeping error proved costly — gifting the visitors the opener.

We returned from the break with more intent and pushed forward in search of an equaliser. Kigozi and Bugembe both created half-chances, but we were unable to convert. As we committed numbers forward, a lapse at the back allowed Police FC to score their second with just eight minutes left on the clock, sealing the result.

Full-Time Reflection
A disappointing afternoon in Bugonga ended in defeat, leaving us in 5th place on 10 points. The team showed effort in the second half but lacked precision in both boxes. It serves as another reminder of the fine margins at this level — and the importance of concentration throughout the 90 minutes.
Final Score: UPPC FC 0–2 Police FC
