Uganda Premier League – Match Day 3, Wednesday 15th October 2025.
FUFA Stadium Kadiba – Namirembe, Kampala.

We continued our promising start to the Uganda Premier League season with a hard-fought 1–1 draw away to SC Villa at the FUFA Stadium, Kadiba in Namirembe, Kampala.

The game began at a lively pace, with both teams pressing for early control. We settled quickly and showed confidence on the ball, and in the 29th minute our persistence paid off. Tumwine Fazil “Cholpla” chased a seemingly lost cause, putting the Villa backline under heavy pressure and forcing a mix-up between their defender and goalkeeper — the resulting error left Fazil free to walk the ball into the net to give us a deserved lead.

We went into the break 1–0 up, having defended compactly and restricted Villa to a few clear openings.

After halftime, the hosts pushed harder, committing more men forward in search of an equalizer. We stood firm for long spells, but in the 83rd minute, Villa leveled through a header from a corner kick.

As pressure mounted in the final moments, Omedwa produced a stunning reflex save at the death to deny Villa a late winner, ensuring we took a well-earned point back to Entebbe.

Final Score: SC Villa 1–1 UPPC FC
Goal: Goal (by Tumwine Fazil “Cholpla”, 29’)
