Match Report: Ntugasaze FC 1–3 Entebbe UPPC FC
StarTimes Uganda Premier League – Match day 10
Kira Rd Police Arena, Kampala | 5th November 2026

Entebbe UPPC FC produced a sensational second-half performance to overcome Ntugasaze FC 3-1 at Kira Road Police Arena with Kigozi stealing the show through a magnificent hat-trick in a Match day 10 encounter of the StarTimes UPL.

The Printers travelled to Kampala knowing they were up against a determined Brewers side, but what followed was an evening of resilience, character and clinical finishing as the visitors turned a first-half deficit into a commanding victory.

A Challenging First Half

The encounter started on fairly balanced terms, with both sides looking to establish control. However, the hosts capitalised on a defensive lapse in the 26th  minute when Kennedy exploited space behind the Printers’ defence, got past Otim and finished to give The Brewers the lead.

Entebbe UPPC responded with urgency, seeking to restore parity before the break. In the 32nd minute, Mugulusi and Ochungo were withdrawn making way for Poloto and Yannick as the technical team sought fresh impetus going forward.

Despite the changes and efforts to get back into the game, the Brewers held on to their advantage, sending the teams into the interval with the hosts leading 1-0.

Kigozi Takes Centre Stage

The Printers returned from the break with renewed determination, and their response was emphatic.

In the 55th minute, Poloto delivered an excellent aerial ball into the penalty area, which Kigozi met with a well-directed header into the far corner to level matters at 1-1.

The equaliser lifted the visitors, who continued pushing forward in search of a breakthrough. Their persistence was rewarded in the 73rd minute when Otim launched a long ball towards Kigozi. The forward battled for possession against defender, while the goalkeeper rushed out to close the angle. Showing excellent awareness, Kigozi got a quick touch on the ball, sending it into an unguarded net to put the Printers ahead.

Celebrations were still unfolding when the visitors struck again.

Just four minutes later, Kokolo unleashed an effort that the Ntugasaze goalkeeper failed to deal with convincingly. Kigozi reacted quickest to the rebound, completing his hat-trick in the 77th  minute and sending the travelling Printers supporters into celebration.

It was a memorable individual performance that underlined the forward’s quality, composure and hunger in front of goal.

Kigozi: More to Come

Speaking after the encounter, Kigozi expressed gratitude to God, his teammates and the technical team for their contribution to his performance, while pledging to keep working hard and surpass his goalscoring figures from last season.
