MATCH REPORT : Matchday 9 || StarTimes Uganda Premier League || FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru || 31 October 2026.

Entebbe UPPC FC produced a spirited second-half fightback to earn a dramatic 1-1 draw against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, with Kokolo Reich Triomphe rising highest to rescue a valuable point deep into stoppage time.

The encounter against the High-Flying Eastern Giants was a closely contested affair, with the Printers creating several promising opportunities, particularly after the interval, in a game that demanded patience, persistence and character.

BUL took the lead in the 43rd minute through Kitatta, who capitalised on a turnover in possession after Munguchi lost the ball in the Printers’ half. The hosts went into the break with a slender advantage despite the visitors having shown attacking intent.

Ibrahim made way for Munguchi after half an hour of play as the Printers sought to find a breakthrough.

The second half, however, saw Entebbe UPPC turn up the pressure, launching wave after wave of attacks in search of an equaliser. Amayo, Kokolo, Kigozi and Poloto all came close, with their efforts either brilliantly dealt with by the BUL goalkeeper or just narrowly missing the target. Chances continued to come, but the finishing touch proved elusive as the hosts were increasingly forced onto the back foot.

With the clock ticking down, the technical team introduced Yannick Mitrial in the 90th minute as the Printers continued their pursuit of a breakthrough. Their persistence finally paid off in the 94th minute.

Kigozi picked out Mitrial just outside the penalty area, who delivered a dropping ball into the danger zone. Kokolo timed his leap perfectly, rising above the BUL defenders to power a commanding header beyond the goalkeeper and send the travelling Printers faithful into wild celebrations.

It was a deserved equaliser for a side that had refused to surrender, with Kokolo’s late intervention capping an impressive display of determination and attacking ambition.

The final whistle confirmed a hard-fought point for Entebbe UPPC, taking their tally to 16 points and keeping them fourth on the Uganda Premier League table. BUL FC, meanwhile, dropped to third following the stalemate.
