The victory marked a significant milestone for The Printers, who claimed their first-ever win in the region on their fourth attempt and their first victory in three visits to Rwamwanja Stadium.
Kokolo delivers the decisive moment
In a tightly contested first half, Kokolo produced a moment of quality late in the opening period, finding the back of the net with a sublime strike to give Entebbe UPPC FC a crucial lead heading into the break.
The goal was Kokolo’s first of the season, capping a memorable performance that would later earn him the UPPC Print School Man of the Match award.
The Printers stand firm under pressure
The Gorillas returned for the second half determined to get back into the contest, intensifying their attacking efforts in search of an equaliser.
However, Entebbe UPPC FC demonstrated resilience and defensive discipline to protect their advantage. Crucial blocks from Barni, Kiryowa and Kayondo proved instrumental as the visitors weathered the hosts’ pressure and preserved their slender lead.

The Printers remained organised and committed throughout the closing stages, ensuring that Kokolo’s first-half brilliance ultimately separated the two sides.
Tactical changes bolster the visitors
Entebbe UPPC FC made several second-half changes as the technical team sought to manage the contest and maintain the team’s intensity.
Kigozi replaced Munguchi at the start of the second half, while Ssenyonjo, Moro and Orit were subsequently introduced for Sharif, Mugulusi and Calvin, respectively.

The changes formed part of the visitors’ efforts to see out the game as KigeziHomeboys continued pushing for a way back into the match.
The final whistle confirmed a valuable away victory for Entebbe UPPC FC, taking their tally to 14 points, level with NEC in the league standings.
