🏆 StarTimes Uganda Premier League – Match Day 10
🗓 Thursday, 11 December 2025
🏟 Fisheries Ground, Bugonga – Entebbe
A composed, disciplined, and ultimately dominant performance saw The Printers return to winning ways with a fully deserved 2–0 victory over The Red Eagles at the Fisheries Ground. It was a game in which we created the better moments, controlled long stretches, and applied the killer touch when it mattered.

Starting XI & Team News
Coach Abdallah made only one change from the side that drew with Mbarara City FC, handing Noordin Sadick Bunjo a starting place ahead of Kawawa.
Starting XI:
Omedwa, Odongo, Mukiibi, Amayo, Mujuzi ©, Bugembe, Ssenyonjo, Munguchi, Bunjo, Kyeyune, Kigozi.
Substitutes: Otim, Male, Kintu, Tumwiine, Kawawa, Iisat, Kokas, Mubiru, Kiryowa, Batiibwe, Bogere, Kazibwe.

First Half
The match began at a relatively slow tempo, with both sides cautious in possession and reluctant to open up early. Fortunately for us, Express were equally subdued in attack, giving The Printers time to settle into rhythm.
The momentum gradually shifted in our favour.
- Kigozi had the ball in the net after the half-hour mark, but the celebrations were short-lived as the assistant referee raised the flag for offside.
- Minutes later, he found himself in another promising position but fired over from close range.
- Ssenyonjo, Bugembe, and Munguchi all registered attempts from the edge of the area, but none could quite break the deadlock.
Despite the goalless scoreline, we closed the half relatively on top, dictating territory and tempo.

Second Half
We returned from the break with real purpose. Coach Abdallah made an immediate double substitution, introducing Kawawa and Mubiru for Kyeyune and Mukiibi. The impact was instant — more urgency, more combinations, and greater penetration in the final third.
Bunjo Breaks the Deadlock — 55’
Ten minutes into the second interval, a clever link-up between the substitutes paid off. Kawawa slipped a perfectly weighted pass to Bunjo at the edge of the box. With one touch to set himself, he unleashed a brilliant strike into the top-left corner, sparking loud celebrations from the home crowd.

Kigozi Doubles the Lead — 75’
We continued to charge forward, and eventually the second goal came through sheer determination and quality.
Bugembe threaded a superb through ball from midfield to release Kigozi, who drove into the box from the left, danced past two Express defenders, and curled a well-placed shot into the far bottom corner.
It was yet another signature finish from our in-form striker.
Full-Time Reflection
The Printers were worth every bit of the three points.
- Solid at the back
- Sharp in midfield
- Dangerous in attack
It was a match we arguably should have won by more, given the chances created across both halves.
The victory lifts us to 5th place on 17 points, just 3 off the top as the season continues to gather pace.
