Six match days in, and the numbers tell a story — one of grit, growth, and a team that’s finding its rhythm in the Uganda Premier League. Entebbe UPPC FC are quietly building something special, and our stat leaders have been right at the heart of it.

Odongo Jonathan Gift has already set up 3 goals this season, 2 of which were crucial match winners at home. “Chopla’s” match winning header against Lugazi FC, Kawawa’s only goal against NEC FC, and set up Kigozi Ambrose for the third against Calvary—all with his trademark pinpoint aerial deliveries. Odongo has made decisive moments his own.

Fazil Tumwiine ‘Chopla’ stands tall as our current joint top scorer, his finishing instinct giving defenders sleepless nights. From that decisive nod against Lugazi FC to his hard earned goal at Kadiba against SC Villa in the one all draw.

Alongside him, Kawawa Samuel Junior, our Player of the Year for the 2024/2025 season, continues to shine as a true magician on the pitch. He is currently level on goals, with two to his name, and has delivered moments of brilliance that captivate fans. Against NEC FC, Kawawa dazzled the crowd with a thunderous bullet header, while in Yumbe, he opened the scoring with a composed strike from just outside the box. Consistently carrying the team, Kawawa proves why he remains a driving force in attack.

Behind him, Bunjo has been the silent architect — his quick thinking creating chances that turn games on their head. It was his clever setup that teed up Chopla’s winner and his assist to Bugembe Isa that ignited our comeback against Lugazi FC at home. Bunjo’s on presences continue to be the heartbeat of our victories.

Speaking of impact, Bugembe Isa has become the man for the moment. His equalizer against Lugazi showed calm under pressure, a goal that steadied the ship and shifted the game’s momentum.

Then there’s Kigozi, who made sure our trip to Midigo ended on a high — netting the third goal that underlined our dominance away from home.

And don’t overlook Steven Munguchi, whose perfectly weighted assist to Ssenyonjo Hassan for our second goal versus Calvary summed up everything this squad stands for: teamwork, awareness, and hunger.

From goal, back to front, every name is adding to the narrative. The stats speak, but the spirit behind them says more — this team is playing for each other, pushing for every inch, and proving that The Printers are here on a mission.
