Entebbe UPPC FC, formerly known as Gaddafi FC, officially unveiled its new identity, marking a fresh chapter in the club’s journey. The change took effect on 8th August 2025 and has been duly recognized by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). The club’s new home grounds will now be the Entebbe Fisheries Institute Grounds – Bugonga, a location chosen to bring the team closer to its growing fan base in Entebbe and to foster a stronger community connection.
Club President Joseph Opio Okurut noted: “This transformation is not just about a change of name, but a bold statement of our vision. We are building a club that reflects excellence, unity, and ambition – values that will inspire both our players and our supporters. Entebbe UPPC FC is here to compete, to grow, and to write a new story in Ugandan football.”
The rebranding signals a renewed focus on performance, community engagement, and long-term development, with the club aiming to leave a lasting impact both on and off the pitch.
