GADDAFI FC UNVEILS NEW TECHNICAL BENCH AHEAD OF HISTORIC PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN

We are honored to resume our UPL chapter under the guidance of Abdallah Mubiru—an accomplished and visionary football mind.
We are pleased to inform our fans, partners, and the wider football fraternity that Abdallah Mubiru has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Gaddafi Football Club.
This appointment comes at a defining moment in our club’s journey, as we mark our return to the Uganda Premier League. It reflects our firm commitment to building a strong, disciplined, and competitive team capable of writing a new chapter in Gaddafi FC’s proud history.
Coach Mubiru is one of the most respected football minds in the region. His previous experience includes managing top Ugandan sides such as KCCA FC, Police FC, Proline FC, Vipers SC, and Mbeya City FC in Tanzania. He also served as Assistant Coach of the Uganda Cranes under Jonathan McKinstry — a testament to his high-level tactical knowledge and leadership.
He joins Gaddafi FC on a two-year contract with a clear and ambitious mandate:
- Stabilize our position in the top flight
- Lay a strong technical foundation
- Build a competitive team capable of challenging for honors within three seasons
In his own words:
