The match kicked off under clear skies, with Andrew Ssekandi stepping in for the suspended Ssekeba in goal. Mbula, Sseninde, and Lubowa retained their places in the starting XI, ensuring continuity in Gaddafi’s attacking setup.
Booma FC started strongly, pushing for an early lead, but Ssekandi was in inspired form.
